With the promotion of Aditya Jain, Chedi Hospitality strengthens its global development function and places strategic responsibility, long-term brand stewardship, and selective international positioning at the forefront.
Chedi Hospitality has promoted Aditya Jain to Chief Development Officer. The promotion marks a defining moment in the evolution of the international hospitality group and underscores its commitment to growth guided by conviction, selectivity, and long-term brand stewardship.
In recent years, Aditya Jain has played a central role in the further development of Chedi Hospitality. In various senior positions, he worked closely with the executive team and was instrumental in structuring and securing strategically significant hotel and residential partnerships across Asia, EMEA, and the GCC. His work shaped the brand’s selective development strategy and strengthened its positioning in key international markets.
A major milestone of his tenure was the establishment of The Chedi Private Residences as a standalone business vertical. The segment was developed as a long-term platform addressing evolving lifestyles and ownership models while upholding the award-winning hospitality service that Chedi is known for. At the same time, Jain expanded the development strategy through new business areas and market access, multiplying the Chedi brand platform across a range of typologies, including hotels, resorts, branded residences, heritage properties, and slow-living destinations.
Aditya Jain brings more than a decade of experience in international real estate and hospitality development. His solid academic background in Real Estate and Construction Economics is complemented by extensive hands-on experience in evaluating, structuring, and executing complex development projects across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
As Chief Development Officer, Jain will now oversee the entire global development strategy of Chedi Hospitality across hotels, resorts, and branded residences. A particular focus will be on the strategic return of the brand to the U.S. market, which holds historical significance for Chedi Hospitality, as well as on the continued strengthening of the core regions of Asia and EMEA. Under his leadership, development will continue to follow clearly defined principles: creating culturally grounded legacies, collaborating with visionary partners, and safeguarding long-term brand integrity. Chedi Hospitality’s philosophy remains: expansion is consciously selective, design-driven, and culturally anchored, aiming to create places of enduring significance.
“This promotion reflects our commitment to evolving perspectives while consistently safeguarding the integrity of the brand,” said Stephan Schupbach, President & Group Chief Executive Officer. “Aditya has played a decisive role in securing key strategic partnerships and in establishing the Chedi Private Residences as a standalone development field. In his new role, he will also take responsibility for the further international positioning of the brand, including our strategic return to the U.S. market.”Aditya Jain added: “Chedi Hospitality is committed to ideas that are meaningful, relevant, and enduring. Development, for me, means taking responsibility of the brand expansion as well as taking responsibility for our partners and for the context of each project. Together, we aim to create projects that are culturally grounded and deliver value over the long term.”
